Oh the age of digital photography. What a wonderous thing!! I know for a fact however that I take WAAAYYYY more pictures than I ever did when I had to develop film. But, I also know that I look at said photos WAAAYYYY less that I ever did when I had to develop film. With a film camera you have to print the pictures to actually enjoy them. So you do. With digital…well, they are there, on your phone, or on your computer. And, you don’t necessarily HAVE to do anything else with them. But, are you really enjoying them just sitting there on your computer or your phone?? My guess is no. I would like to say that I’ve done a good job keeping all of our photos organized and stored securely. But, then I would be lying. I have made a couple of yearbook-like photo books and I love them. So, my goal is to get everything organized and make one for each year. Seems easy enough right?? Ha! We shall see!
It’s been a while since I shared a tablescape with y’all!! I found some table linens in a closet not too long ago that I had completely forgotten buying! Ugh! Do you ever do that? I purchased them last year on clearance at Target. They are so cute and summery! I just had to pull together a table for you guys!
I have been wanting to try my hand at one of these for a long time. I’ve seen them floating around the interwebs for a while! So, even though this isn’t a “new” creation, I thought I would share my process with you. 🙂 It was not a perfect process by any means, but I feel like you should know that not all DIY is perfect. Not everything goes exactly as planned, and sometimes you have to go with plan B or plan C. So, I’m gonna share it all – the good and the not so good. haha
Hey there! How are ya?? I have to be honest, styling bookshelves used to intimidate me. Like for real. I was awful at it. But, over the years, I’ve learned a thing or two from people who seemed to be naturals at it, and now I think I’m not too bad. HA!! I also have to admit that I hadn’t touched our bookshelves in our family room for several years. Aside from adding in and taking out a few seasonal items here and there, they stayed basically the same. Here are some before pics that I had to hunt for, because I have become a terrible blogger in that I keep forgetting to take before pics!! (not great quality because they are phone pics and not meant to be before pics haha)
I shared a few pics on Instagram, along with my sentiments on coastal design, architecture and decor. I love it so much!! And, I am looking for ways to incorporate it into our Oklahoma home.
