Another year has passed and here we are at the start of a new year. Each new year is met with excitement and energy. But, how far will that take you? Setting goals for the year is always a good way to give you some focus. Goals give you something to work towards.
I’m seriously still wrapping my head around the fact that it’s November. September and October just flew by. We were super busy with kid activities and we tried our best to fit in a project here and there. Things have kind of been all over the place lately!! I have definitely been a little frazzled. But, all these things that keep me busy, bring me so much JOY so I can’t complain.
Hey there! So two things. One – I had a totally different post planned for you this week, but the cloudy weather changed my plans (very hard to photograph with no natural light). Two – I haven’t done one of these in a while, so I thought it would be good for today!
Fall is finally here and I am so glad!! Along with the rain with had this week came cooler temperatures. Yay for sweater and boots! How is it possible though that September is mostly gone?? I swear, the older I get the faster time flies by.
Hey there friends! I just got back from a quick trip out to California to visit my son. I’m still trying to get back to reality and have been met with some super not so fun stuff (we had to have a guy come out to find a leak and fix it 🙁 ). Being in California with our oldest and his fiance, who made the trip with me, brought about all kinds of feels. So, please excuse me while I dump some of those on you today (I’ll throw in a few pics from my trip to make it pretty). Because, I find it therapeutic and maybe just maybe there is someone out there that is having some of the same feelings and will be encouraged to know that they are not alone!
I know, I know, you’re probably confused. You’re probably thinking “huh?? summer is just starting”. And, yes you’re right it is. But…how many summers to you have left with all of your kiddos?? The Nester wrote a post about this several years ago. It hit me right in the heart, and it continues to be true as each year passes and the summers become fewer and fewer.
