A new year! Each year I’m amazed at how much faster the time passes. I guess maybe that’s part of getting older. 😆 A few months ago one of my favorite instagrammers, Holly from ourfauxfarmhouse, was talking about how she and her hubby sometimes only finish most projects 95%, and I totally relate! So, my #1 goal for 2019 is to move from 95% done to 100% done in every room!
What a year it has been! I love all things DIY and design and I love sharing with you! I appreciate each and every one of you for following along! Whether you are a new follower or one of the faithful few that have been here from the beginning (almost 6 1/2 years ago 😯 ). Like most people, I like to take some time at the end of each year to look back and see how far we’ve come, the things we’ve accomplished, and even the things that didn’t quite go as planned. So today I’m sharing the 10 posts that y’all enjoyed the most! Again, thanks for reading!
Hey friends! I totally had on my calendar to do a post on the Christmas candy I made yesterday. But, I kept it pretty basic this year, meaning no new recipes, so you can catch that here in this post if you’re curious. 🙂 I’ve had several friends ask me what I buy after Christmas, so, instead I thought I would talk about that! What I shop for and where I shop. Some places might surprise you. 😉 I honestly like after-Christmas-clearance shopping more than black Friday shopping! No, really!!
Have you finished your Christmas shopping yet? We are about three presents away from being done. Yay! I know, down to the wire, but that’s pretty normal for us. HAHA! Every year I think I’m going to do better and get everything done sooner, but alas, it has yet to happen. Oh well! So, next up is wrapping all the presents. I actually really love wrapping presents! I love being creative and making each package look pretty and unique. I’m sharing some ways you can do that without breaking the bank.
Excited to join up with another group of talented bloggers to share a few more cozy spots in our home all dressed up for Christmas! If this is your first time here, welcome! So glad to have you! Feel free to stay awhile and look around! If you missed Monday’s post where I shared our family room, you can go back and check that out here. I love to spread the Christmas cheer throughout the rest of our home as well, sprinkled in small doses here and there and that’s what I’m sharing today!! Let’s start in the kitchen.
