I shared a few pics on Instagram, along with my sentiments on coastal design, architecture and decor. I love it so much!! And, I am looking for ways to incorporate it into our Oklahoma home.
Hello there friends!! I’ve missed y’all soooo much!! I am here to assure you that I. am. back!! My part time teaching job is over and summer has begun!! After school was out, our boys headed off on their first church trip of the summer – a 15 day choir mission trip to Boston and back. The day after they left, we boarded a plane and headed south to Florida! Our first time to 30A and we our officially hooked!!
Tap, tap, tap. Anyone there?? I knew it had been a while since I sat down to blog, but I didn’t really think it had been two months! 😯 I’ve missed it so much honestly. I think I mentioned before that after Christmas I took a temporary part time job. And, it has literally rocked my world. I’m so used to having all the time in the world to do all the things. But, now I have about half the time that I had before, and I can’t seem to get anything but the necessities done. And, even those aren’t always getting done because I’m so ridiculously tired!! UGH! I’m glad it’s only temporary! But, don’t be surprised if I go dark again for another few weeks after this post. lol
Hey there friends! I’ve been sharing lately on Instagram of the #greatroomswapof2019 that’s been happening here at our house. As soon as our older kids started moving on to college and beyond the younger kids were always vieing for the larger room. Out of the three bedrooms, one is in the corner and quite a big bigger than the other two. So, as always, when our daughter moved out, our middle son was asking to switch rooms. This always means painting, moving furniture, taking stuff off the wall, putting stuff on the wall, etc. This time also included making my youngest son go through his
hoard stuff. And, yes, since middle son was moving, youngest son decided he would move too, so more of all of the same. But….the best part of it all was I realized we would actually have an empty bedroom. I thought about (for about a second) making it into an official guest room, but then I decided to make it all mine. That’s right, a dedicated craft room + home office! I’m so excited!! Here is what we are starting with.
Hello friends! I’m so happy to finally be sharing this project with you today! To be honest this has been on my to-do list for way too long! I even had all the supplies. Ha! So, a couple of weekends ago I got busy! This XOXO pillow cover was the perfect addition to our master bedroom, especially right before Valentine’s Day. 🙂
