I’m not sure how it’s possible that August is almost over! September is right around the corner. I have definitely reached that point in the summer when I am done with the hot weather and I’m ready for fall. How about you?? I haven’t done a monthly round-up in a while. Mostly because I haven’t been blogging a lot in a while, but I thought it would be a great idea this month! So, here ya go! In case you missed something here at frazzled JOY this month!
Can you believe we are already to the end of August?? I’m tellin ya, time truly does fly when you’re having fun! Or maybe time moves faster as you get older. But, wait, I’m not getting older, so it must be the fun thing!! HAHAHA!! Anywho!! Did anyone read that title and panic a little for me?? I have panicked a little bit for myself this month as I’ve thought of it. But, have no fear, it can be done. How do I know that? Because we’ve done it before. It’s been a while, but we are in desperate need of a budget reboot. So, here we go!
We made it to Friday again friends!! WooHOO!! I’m not feeling all that frazzled this week, so instead of “Frazzled Friday” I thought we would go with “Friday Feelings”. I shared this verse earlier in my Instagram feed. It’s one that are pastor preached on this last Sunday. And, man did it really hit home.
Several months ago I talked about changing the color of our front door. And then, I never got around to it. But, when we decided to paint the trim…finally, I decided it was time. I went back and forth for a long time on what color to go with. However, I couldn’t get this image out of my head. I know, I know, it’s a dollhouse, but when I saw it I knew that I had to have that green door. (side note: not a color I had in the running before, 😆 ) So, here ya go!!
I am finally getting around to sharing our first rehearsal dinner! I have to say, after going through our first wedding as parents, I’m super okay with only having one girl. 🙂 My job as Mother of the Groom was pretty easy peasy and fun! Of course I can’t wait to plan all things with my daughter when that time comes, but I’ll take the less stressful MOG role happily.
