High Five on Friday #7

Happy Friday friends! I’m super excited that after today there are only two more days of school!! May always wears me out. This concert, and that concert, and this ceremony, and that contest, and this recital, and that tryout, and on and on it goes. All the things. Oh, and bring this, and bring that, and pay this and pay that. Add on to that graduation gifts and parties, and baby gifts and showers, and man oh man, I need a break! Anybody else relate with these first world problems?? 😆 Well, today we are just gonna forget about all of that and enjoy some pretty spaces because it’s high time for another

Our Trip to the Pioneer Woman Mercantile

Hey friends! I hope your weekend was great! And I hope that all you mama’s out there had a wonderful Mother’s Day! I had a great day relaxing and enjoying a little quiet time as well as a fun dinner out! I love being a mama to my four! A few weeks ago I shared that I took a couple of days off to spend with my mom. We had such a great visit! And, at her suggestion, we decided to visit the Pioneer Woman Mercantile, in Pawhuska, OK, which is about 45 minutes from where my mom lives. I have been wanting to go since it opened, but wanted to let the hype settle a little – really didn’t want to stand in line. 😉

April in Review 2017

Again, how is it already May?? It seems like I blinked and April was gone! Unfortunately, I’m thinking May will be very similar. You know how it is…concerts, contests, graduations, tests, last days of school…add in to that people coming home from college, baby showers, wedding showers, and more things I’m sure I’m forgetting (which, btw, is my biggest fear – forgetting something 😳 – maybe because it’s happened), and well, the month will soon be over. I pray that I can fully enjoy every minute of every day! So today I’d like to look back and see what we really got accomplished here @frazzledjoy in the month of April.

Life Lately and a Reset

Hey there friends!! {tap, tap} is this thing on??? I totally didn’t intend on taking time off, but I did. And it was good. Sometimes we don’t know we need a reset until we take one. And this is what happened to me last week. I’ve told you how busy things have been around here on the home front – things have not slowed down yet. And, then I decided to open an Etsy shop. That in and of itself consumed my time for a couple of months. And while I know it was the right thing to do – mostly because I was tired of talking about it and thinking about it – pushing “open shop” and telling everyone about it was extremely stressful and nerve wracking for this little introvert. So, I decided to go visit my mom for a couple of days, because, again I have been telling her for a while that I would!
