Hey friends! I totally had on my calendar to do a post on the Christmas candy I made yesterday. But, I kept it pretty basic this year, meaning no new recipes, so you can catch that here in this post if you’re curious. 🙂 I’ve had several friends ask me what I buy after Christmas, so, instead I thought I would talk about that! What I shop for and where I shop. Some places might surprise you. 😉 I honestly like after-Christmas-clearance shopping more than black Friday shopping! No, really!!

Hey there friends! Well, my month of “no spending” has just about come to an end. So, I went ahead and did some calculations to see how we did. And, it was no surprise to find that we have saved a ton of money over the month!
Well, we are one week into our “No Spend September” and man oh man has it been a challenge!! All the awesome Labor Day sales were a real temptation! But, I stayed strong and stayed away! Yay me! I did make a trip to Ikea with my daughter-in-law when we were in St Louis visiting, but I only bought two pillow covers, and I spent my cash allowance. 🙂 Today, however, I’d love to talk about one category of our budget that has always been a stumbling block…food.
