I am super excited to be spending the day Christmas shopping with my mom. How about you? Have you finished your shopping yet? Have you started?? Ha! Maybe you are shopping for a beginner DIYer. Some who loves to DIY, but might not have a ton of tools. That’s how I was in the beginning! If so, then today’s post is for you! Some of these things may already be in their garage, but I bet not everything! These are some of my favorite things that I use on a fairly regular basis!

This handle attaches to any standard can of spray paint and makes any spray paint job so much easier on your hand and less mess! I’ve had a couple of these and they have improved them quite a bit so that they are easy to get on and off. Such a great tool!
Second, since we’re talking spray paint, you need this spray shelter. If you like to upcycle thrift store and garage sale pieces with spray paint then this is perfect for your crafting needs. (If you like to do bigger things, I’ve heard great things about their larger shelter as well.)
I’ve had a miter box and saw kit like this for years. Well before we had a circular saw, this is what we had. It’s so handy for smaller projects!
We were gifted with this drill several years ago, and seriously, we use it weekly almost. It works great for small and large jobs and holds it’s charge for quite a while.
Another power tool that really comes in handy for those of us that like to work with wood is this power sander. It’s small enough for smaller jobs, but hard working enough to take on bigger jobs. So. much. better. than. hand. sanding. Am I right??
So, there you have it! A few of my favorite go to tools for small, and bigger projects all over our home!! Happy shopping friends!! I’ll be back next week with more Christmas goodness!!
