Hi friends! Do you ever feel like you will never be done with your home? If you do, then you probably love decorating!! I know I am constantly circling back and changing things up. I like to make changes that are fairly simple, not too pricey, and of course something I can DIY!! Today, I’m thinking about our front door. For several years it has looked like this. And I like it. But, I think I’m ready for something different.
I love blue. All sorts of blue. So, it’s probably natural that all of my color choices are blue!
I adore this navy blue door from Ann at On Sutton Place. Y’all know I love navy, so this would be a great choice.
My newest color crush is deep teal. I don’t know what it is about it, but it just draws me in. This door from Crafty Nest is so pretty!
Of course, in the mix of all the blue, I have also been considering stripping the paint, and staining the door with a walnut stain. Stained doors, like this one I found while thumbing through an old Southern Living magazine, seem to be all the rage these days.
I’m not crazy about the carvings on our door (like some sort of flower), but it might look really awesome in a dark stain. What do you think?? I would love your vote! Comment here or on social media and let me know!
Hope your Wednesday is fabulous!!

I actually LOVE the carvings on your door, it’s unique! I think the navy would really update everything with your brick. I kind-of like the teal too, but not sure about it with your brick. It might look dated. Have you ever thought about removing your screen door? You might use it a lot, just a thought. That door would really shine without the screen!

Still thinking… I really love your turquoise door, what about deepening the color a bit? Something like this? https://www.pinterest.com/pin/126030489543750296/ I guess it’s along your teal line, but a little more towards blue than green. Just another thought!! 😉
