I’m taking a break from Family Fridays for a while, or maybe I will just mix and match Family Fridays with something new. I am taking a leap and joining Lisa-Jo Baker, and many other talented people with Five Minute Friday. For those who don’t know Lisa-Jo, I encourage you to go check her out. She is an amazing encourager. All you young mommys out there especially – go now and read her words of love and peace.
Anywho, Lisa-Jo gives a one word prompt every Friday, and the goal is to write on that one word for five minutes.
Here goes.
Often times when my hubby and I are alone together, whether it be date night, or just on a walk, I do a lot of sighing. Hubby used to ask what was wrong. I mean, all of the time ask. It was sweet he noticed. I would always tell him, “no nothing’s wrong, I just forgot to breathe.” He would give me the weirdest looks. But really people, I sometimes get so caught up in the busy of the day, the schedules, the to-do list, that I forget to exhale.
Think about it, and then do it. Exhale. Right there where you are, right now. Do you remember the last time you let out a good breath and took in the moment, the things surrounding you, ya I know.
Life is passing quickly folks. Don’t forget to breathe in the moments. Exhale.

Breathe in the moments. Yes. Me too. Have to remember to breathe and wait on life. I have to tell myself to enjoy life sometimes. I'm perpetually trying to plan it out.
Thanks for sharing today!
