I don’t know why but I feel like I’ve been in a bit of a rut lately. Not just with projects, but with everything. I have been circling around several projects on my list for the kids rooms. I have started many things, and finished a few. (I promise I will get around to share those with you soon!!) I just can’t seem to get motivated in any one direction. So, instead of trying to make something happen, I decided to find some pretty inspiration from the lovely world of the internet, and as usual it did not disappoint.
We are hosting Thanksgiving this year since we only get our boy home for a few days, and my mind is spinning with ideas for simple but lovely table decor. I really want it to be simple, natural, and most of all inexpensive. Here are some things that I found.
Please, if you are going to Pin any of these – click on the source below the pic and pin from the original – Thank you!!

I love the simplicity of this centerpiece – the chalkboard table runner is a fantastic base for just about anything, but looks darling paired with the jars and pine cones.

The wooden box filled with pumpkins, pine cones, candles, and other natural goodies. Love!

If only I had a magnolia tree in my backyard….

What a simple and sweet way to remind everyone what the holiday is truly about. A great time filler and conversation starter too!!

Love the mix of wicker, natural, and silver in this arrangement. Beautifully natural!

My favorite part of this table is the gingham check runners. I’m definitely gonna have to find a way to incorporate that on my table for sure.
I don’t know that this was a productive or helpful way to spend my time, because now my head in spinning in another direction!! ARGH!! But, I can’t wait to start pulling stuff together. I know it’s a couple of months away, but we are starting to count down to the time we get to spend together as a family. 🙂
