I know every other blogger out there is already sharing Christmas decor. But, since I’m already behind I might as well stick with it right?? HAHA!! Besides if you’ve been around here long you know Christmas doesn’t get a head start around here. One holiday at a time haha. So, in the spirit of fall and Thanksgiving I am sharing a simple fall table with you today that wouldn’t take much to duplicate.

A simple canvas tablecloth that I made several years ago as the backdrop. (similar) Layered with more neutral colors, a little bit of warm orange and a little bit of gold for the glam.
The place settings consist of rattan placemats (linking similar), simple white dishes (linking similar), black and white napkins and gold flatware. The flatware is tied together with this really cute “blessed” ribbon that I found on clearance at Hobby Lobby at the end of the summer. It is no longer in stock, but for a simple look this striped ribbon is fabulous! And don’t forget simple glass goblets that can be used for any occasion.
The centerpiece started with this fun raw edged wood riser that I found at Marshall’s several months back. It made a great base for a charcuterie board then, but this time I decided to load it down with faux pumpkins and brass candlesticks (all of which were thrifted over time). (linking something similar but round) The simple white candles are from dollar tree. I love that they are short and a little chubby. The white bowl in the center holding more pumpkins was also thrifted several years back. I love looking for table decor at thrift stores! I know thrifting and collecting can take time so I’ve linked a few options under the picture above that would make a cute centerpiece.
I love to keep the color scheme of a table simple. And I love to use basic items that can be transformed from season to season – white plates, black and white napkins, brass candlesticks, clear glass goblets – all things that could be used year around!! Even the gold flatware could serve many occasions!
Are you hosting Thanksgiving dinner this year?? Do you have your table planned out yet?? It’s only a few weeks away!! Happy hosting my friends!!
