I am always looking for ways to repurpose things. Using things I have and making them better. Re-working something to serve our home better.
About a year ago I purchased a mirror at Ross. I liked the mirror. It was the right size and shape. It was the right price. However, after having it up on the mantel for a while I decided that maybe I made a hasty choice, and that maybe the style wasn’t quite mine.
So, I took it down for a while, and then I decided to give it a little update. Maybe you saw it during my Christmas tour??
Can you believe that’s a DIY?!? Yes it is! It was simple and cheap but it definitely took some time.
All I used was a roll of jute, some hot glue, (and a roll of jute ribbon for the side).
I decided on a design and just started twisting and bending and turning and gluing.
In the end, I had this.
Unique and a little more my style. 😉
Make sure you stop back by Thursday to see the plan for our One Room Challenge closet update!
