I’m seriously still wrapping my head around the fact that it’s November. September and October just flew by. We were super busy with kid activities and we tried our best to fit in a project here and there. Things have kind of been all over the place lately!! I have definitely been a little frazzled. But, all these things that keep me busy, bring me so much JOY so I can’t complain.
October in Review
We’ve had some very confusing weather this month. One day it’s freezing and the next it’s nice and warm. (Normal for Oklahoma fall really.) We took one of those warm days early this month and did some work towards upgrading the curb appeal of our home. For more details on my inspiration and possible plans check out this post.
The day of America’s Greatest Homecoming was another beautifully warm day! We enjoy sharing this tradition with our kiddos every year! Hubby and I love our school and the town. We have such fond memories from our time there and we love spending time there as a family. 😀
I took some time to get crafty this month! It was very therapeutic! I made something I’ve been wanting to try out for a while – a hoop wreath! Easy and fun, and so versatile. I see more of them in my future!
We have been spending a lot of our time this fall watching these two do their thing in the marching band. It is so fun to see them doing something they truly love! I have to admit, these two make me very proud. 😉
It’s pumpkin spice season! And, this year I jumped in and tweaked a muffin recipe my friend gave me. Seriously, so good and SUPER quick and easy. You have to try them!
We have about three projects in the works, and several others brewing on the back burner. Of course, the holidays are coming so we will see how many of those we get done, and how many will have to wait until the new year! (ugh hard to say that) Have a great weekend!!
