Excited to join up with another group of talented bloggers to share a few more cozy spots in our home all dressed up for Christmas! If this is your first time here, welcome! So glad to have you! Feel free to stay awhile and look around! If you missed Monday’s post where I shared our family room, you can go back and check that out here. I love to spread the Christmas cheer throughout the rest of our home as well, sprinkled in small doses here and there and that’s what I’m sharing today!! Let’s start in the kitchen.
I don’t go crazy in here because it’s not a huge space and it still has to function well for our family through the season. Just a few touches here and there to add some cheer.
The chalkboard wall got a little love with a little lettering and a little art.
The tree is highlighting our advent scripture cards that I got from The Plaid Pineapple a couple of years ago. I love them!
I shared our dining room with the table all dressed last week, but for everyday I like to keep it a little more simple since this is where we eat our family meals.
I left the red fabric just for a little color and a couple of trees in the galvanized tray.
The flocked trees really add to the cozy feel, and a simple red bead garland on our sign is enough for me.
While we’re on this side of the house…I just had to add a little Christmas twinkle to our newly updated laundry room! LOVE!
Another Christmas decor staple are these little “nutivities” that the kiddos made in kindergarten Sunday School many years ago. Every year when I take them out of storage I have to hot glue a nut or two back on, but I cherish them so!!
I had fun with this little vignette which sits in the corner of our hall. A perfect spot for our family to enjoy!
Of course our bedroom has to have a little Christmas love as well. I’ve always let my love of navy blue get in the way of my love of traditional Christmas red and green, but not this year. And, I love the look!
There is nothing better than twinkle lights above your bed, I don’t care how old you are!
I am also a huge advocate for having a Christmas tree in your bedroom. We don’t have the space for a big tree so I use this small pencil tree and just string some lights on it. But, it is just the right touch in here!

Your home looks so pretty, Denise. Putting lights over your bed is a good idea. I can imagine that your bedroom is so cozy at night with the lights on over your bed and on your pencil tree.
