Hand Lettered Rustic JOY Sign

Hey there friends!! I’ve been wanting one on these rustic signs for our front porch for a while. In fact, it’s been on my to-do list for quite a few years, but I have never gotten around to it. Until this year!! I’m so excited to add this to our outdoor decorations! It’s not perfect, which is exactly what I wanted!

From Plaid Placemat to Cute Christmas Pillow

Hope you had a great time celebrating Thanksgiving with family and friends!! We sure did! 🙂 I’m gonna have to work out a little extra over the next couple of weeks to counteract all the eating I did. 😳  But, it was worth it! Thanksgiving food is some of my favorite!!
So Thanksgiving is over and now I can talk about Christmas! I know, I know, I’m so far behind most of my blogger friends, but I am a purest – one holiday at a time. Also, with hosting Thanksgiving, I really don’t want to confuse my guests! 😆
You may have seen this project around the blogosphere before. It’s certainly not a new idea. But, it’s not one that I had tried before and thought you might like a tutorial. 😉

I had thought of using wire, but when I was at Hobby Lobby (to buy the wire) I spotted some wired jute in the fall section…80% off.

I can never pass up a sale like that so my plan changed. The constructing of the napkin rings was experimental for sure but I’ll show you how I made the ones I finally settled on.
